I'm guessing Pittsburgh takes a WR from this class on Day 1 or 2. James Washington has some things about him I like, but his rookie tape does not show a player that is ready to contribute on all three levels of the field. I'm tentatively looking at Martavis Bryant's past usage to frame my expectations for Washington in '19.

The person who I think stands to most to have a breakout season is Vance Mcd. They HAVE to run more now that AB is gone, and now the play fake comes into play even more. He’s been solid, and there are a lot of targets to go around now with no clear beneficiary. Even if they draft a 1st round WR he won’t have the chemistry/trust to get 120 targets from Ben

I agree. McDonald probably stands to benefit as much or more than Washington.

Until they draft a TE in the 1st round. They're only mock drafts, but I have seen couple people that have Pittsburgh grabbing TJ Hockenson in the first round.

What was he doing on waivers, guy was a top 16 rookie draft pick last year? Some dynasty players have zero patience!

Looking long term, another thing that is working in Washington's favor is that Big Ben's current heir apparent is Mason Rudolph - Washington's college QB.

My dynasty league is a contract league. Not uncommon to find talented young players on the WW that GMs decided they didnt want to sign. Dont know if this persons is

Guy who dropped him has a stacked team, won it all last year, dropped Washington to pick up Adam Humphries. I dropped TJ Jones to pick Washington up. He was the 2.11 pick in our draft. <shrugs> Guess he didn't value him.

I'm in a league with a guy that traded 1.06 for Humphries 9 weeks ago. Today he trades Humphries for 1.08, then I traded Washington to him for 1.08. Humphries is ridiculous in my league...

I drafted Washington with the 2.02 in the rookie draft last year. Feel turning it into 1.08 this year is a solid investment. I do like Washington, but I don't like Big Ben being older and him possibly fading this year or next. What I didn't think through is that Mason Rudolph was his college qb, and odds are Washington would benefit from the QB change ironically.

I grabbed Washington partly because I own Ben/Rudolph.

Dude that's an old post. Premature story. FAKE NEWS! The deal got nixed by "Mr. Big Checks". He ended up on the Raiders.

Raiders now. More importantly, he's not in PITT.

Round 2 is High. Think they drafted JuJu and Washington in the 2nd.
late 2nd round guys
60 and 62 and prior to that it was limas sweed 10 years ago. every other wr taken was 3rd round or later.
more than likely if brown is gone they wont be taking a wr in round 2 and it'll be a later round. i think the avg. wr selection over the previous decade for them is round 4.
Draft is 7 rounds. By NFL standards any round 2 pick is considered a high pick. In fact, Round 3 picks are also considered high. This isn't fantasy. The NFL deals with 22 positions plus special teams and when they miss on picks in the first 3 round it hurts.

Carry On.
like I said 104 average

They will surely bring in a veteran whether it's Crabtree, Tyrell or a future cut. Maybe Agholor? No way do they go into the season with JuJU and Washington as the starters.
