Arob vs pick

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Arob vs pick

Postby darewood11 » Tue Mar 05, 2019 10:01 am

2hat pick value does he carry? I'm thinking or offering 1.06 for him is that enough?

I have no idea how to value Robinson at this point. I think the 1.06 is fair value personally

Yeah Arob’s value could be all over the place. If you like him, getting him for 1.06 is a steal.

I would pay the 1.06 for him but would have a hard time selling him for that.

I wouldn't sell for the 1.06, but I'd buy at that price.

1.06 is probably about right. I'd buy for that.

Probably close to fair. But as an owner who follows him very closely I wouldn’t sell for that. He has major potential to be a high WR2 for the next 1-2 years imo. Who knows what you are getting at 1.06.

Not trying to be a troll here. Can someone explain to me the Allen Robinson love on this website? His name comes up a lot...for someone who was dominant...in 2015. I think he's better than his 2018 stats for sure. But I don't think he ever reaches 2015 levels again. Sorry if this sounds troll-ish, that's not my intent.

I'm a big time ARob guy and I'd buy for 1.06 and wouldn't sell for 1.06. That's probably about right because I think in general both sides of that trade would feel like they slightly got the short end of the straw at that valuation but would still accept it.

I couldn't sell him for any 1st. I would have taken the 1.06. I eventually added him to a package.
It all depends on your league- my league happened to be very low on him.

Recently sold him for the 1.05 in a superflex league. And I was an OG Arob supporter. I was hoping for a better pick but that was the best I could get. I would say given his production the last 3 years the 1.05 is a pretty good pick to get for him, even in a somewhat down class like this one. At this point you simply can't ignore he's only put together 1 good season in 5 years, and been ravaged by injuries. Sure, I pointed to this reason or that why he didn't produce over the years (bortles, injuries, etc), but now there is no more margin for error. One more down year and then he's "old" and his value tanks completely. The trade could easily end up biting me but i'm glad to be out at this point.

Saying he'll never reach 1400 yards and 14 tds is a bit trollish, literally nobody expected him to duplicate that.
