Le'veon Bell is Eddie Lacy?
Reports come out recently that Bell is at 260 pounds. (I apologize if this thread has been created). Does this worry anyone, because posting the 40 pounds he needs to, in that amount of time can't be good for you, if it's true.

Habaneros make the best hot sauce. Throwing a bunch of random stuff on top of fries doesn't mean you call it "poutine".

Re: lol
I was talking about the report and his response that he was 260 pounds, not skillset. So Bell being 260 pounds and not having played in a long time doesn't worry you at all?
So is somebody trying to sabotage Bell? Genuinely curious how this came out. It would worry me, IF it were true.

Well. If it’s true it can’t be viewed as a good thing. There is a lot of misinformation out there though. I’d be very curious if I was an owner or GM of an NFL team considering him.
Truth is found through Evidence.

Probably not
Re: Le'veon Bell is Eddie Lacy?
Bell is not Lacy, no. Not even close. Bell has a special skill set. Do I believe he is a lock to repeat his previous numbers with a new team? Hell no. RB success is so much based upon the offensive scheme and offensive line that it is impossible to predict really (see David Johnson). I doubt he'll find a better location for his skillset that Pittsburg, but who knows. But at the very least he has a better natural skillset than Lacy.
Re: lol
His personal trainer has already shot down the report as "ridiculous"... I would imagine this is just more gamesmanship and false info in the age of the internet, probably being leaked to stir the pot. I wouldn't put any stock into it; the team that signs him will command a physical and then we can see what we see.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 6:05 pm I was talking about the report and his response that he was 260 pounds, not skillset. Also the report said this happened during last season, and the trainer said he was at 225 when they were working out in January. Screams of false info to me. And finally - Lacy could never do half the things Bell does... he has better field vision, better burst, and an entire aspect as a receiver. There is NO WAY that LB is Fat Eddie Lacy, that is a lazy comp.
The only things that scare me about Bell are the things we've always known: that he's run behind a top-5 O-line, that he sat out a year, that he's now closer to 30 than 22, and that the next team he's on will probably not be as elite at moving the ball.

Did Bell tweet about getting Chinese?
260 sounds too big to be true

Probably a tactic to lower his value.

Re: lol
The Bell thing about Lacy was strictly due to weight. He was my RB1 in Dynasty after his rookie year, coming off of 3.5 YPC, I'm well aware of his skill set. I watched Lacy and a number of other of backs get drafted before Bell broke out, and grabbed my top Dynasty back after guys who weren't nearly as talented. No word of a lie, he was my top back right before he broke out, I saw it coming, but knew I could get him later. It was a bit of a joke about Lacy and his weight issues. It wasn't lazy, it was in fun. Bell was always on another plain of talent for me, Lacy was all about situation in GB.mild wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 7:05 pmHis personal trainer has already shot down the report as "ridiculous"...
