Hey guys, i own the 1.01 pick in this years' draft. Still a long way to go until NFL draft (and rookie draft in May), but what would you recommend for getting better this offseason and make a big run?

Would you take best RB available at 1.01? Trade out of 1.01 for a proven RB? Possibly trade 1st pick for 1.06 and 1.07? Obviously I need a big time player at RB since Guice is really my only legit option. I could also use some help at TE with the inconsistency of Engram...err, Manning.

trade out if possible. i love knowing what i am getting with my pick rather than hoping it goes how i think.

honestly for your team you need to sell thielen and green pronto. should have moved em last year honestly.

TE is fine you should not be worried or focused on that at all. you got nothing behind guice (and who knows how good guice/washingtons O will even be), you got nothing behind juju and thielen if green gets old this season (hes been hurt too often to count on him as a guy to build around). id also look to downgrade from wentz to get help elsewhere although his value is down right now compared to last offseason. target like cousins or dak and pick up a pick or a depth piece.

Never seen a worst group of RB's in my life. Even in a 16 team league. I'd move AJ Green for sure, and probably Thielen too. You should be able to get at least one good RB and one good WR back in return, plus a little more. I'd see what you can get for those two and then reevaluate. You can always move the 1.01 after that if you feel you still need to. I'd wait until closer to the draft though.

Your RB's are a mess for sure. I would sell the pick after the NFL draft when everyone has rookie fever and take the best offer for your team. You will get way more after the draft then anytime the next couple months. I would also suggest selling Thielen, Green and anything else you can sell outside of Wentz, Guice and JuJu and start a massive multi year rebuild. Picks in 2020 could be big for your team.

Yup, you gotta sell that pick, but there is no hurry. The hype is likely to grow after combine and especially after draft. And like others have said above, sell Thielen. Better to sell a year early, than to try and sell a year late (Green). I'd also see what you could get for Foreman. There are still believers.

I would get what I could for that entire team and strip that down to the foundation to start over. Keep Wentz, Guice, JuJu, and Engram. Evreyone else just take the highest bid.

X2. This is what I would do too. I don’t think your team is in bad shape other than RB is weak because I think people are forgetting that this is a 16 team league, your WRs, TE are fine for a 16 team league.

Your team is good for a 16 team league team. The comments on this thread suck.

I don't think every comment was against this idea... They are recommending getting a bit younger so that he can continue to compete for a few years. He's got great WR that happen to be aging a little, TE and QB are set and RB needs a bit of work.

I think the idea of trading the 1.01 for a known RB like Sony or Kerryon is much better idea than drafting a rookie. It's worth exploring for the OP since he holds the 1.01 and all the value in it...

Too early to trade the pick unless you get a great offer. The NFL draft will clear things up.

The top 3 players in this draft IMO are D.K. Metcalf, Josh Jacobs, and Marquise Brown. Jacobs has a ton of 3 down potential. If goes to KC or the Raven's as an example his value will skyrocket.

My take is this draft is pretty strong. There is not a Barkley or Zeke but there are 2-3 3 down backs in this draft.

Jacobs looks to be a week 1 starter in the NFL. He can run routes, has power and is very good in pass blocking. Not quite Zeke in that department but way above average.

I like him more than Guice as a legit 3 down player. My bet is he shoots up NFL draft boards after combine and pro day.

I'm puzzled. I thought his team was decent for a 16 team league, more than decent if he can upgrade at RB (and Guice is a top 15 or 20 RB at worst).

That's where I would focus my efforts. I would also sell AJG if I could get a good young WR back.

I'd definitely wait until the draft and see if the Eagles/Chiefs/Texans take a RB early. If they do then the 1.01 immediately becomes more appealing for your situation and most likely many others. I'd either keep the pick and take the best RB available in that situation or sell it for Kerryon like another poster suggested. If Jacobs goes to the chiefs or EAgles I'm all in.

1.01 went in my league for Sony + 2020 1st (Likely early). I’ll say the guy is in love with Kyler Murray though so he got robbed
