Should I accept for McCaffery?

Was just offered:

Receive:
Christian McCaffery
2019 10th round pick
2020 1st round pick

Give:
David Johnson
James Connor
2019 1st round pick
2020 3rd round pick

My other RBs include Bell and K. Johnson. Then falls off a cliff with Edmonds and J. Williams. My 2019 1st is a late round, his team is near the bottom of the league so I would expect a top 5 2020 pick.

I think you need to take that, especially if the 2020 1st projects high. The 10th is hilarious, btw. I think you should counter for his 9th, just for kicks.

A 10th round pick with 9 Idp starters isn't crazy I feel like its crazier having a 6th round draft in a single qb/te league no idps in my Sig 2 league. But to answer your question id see if hed budge taking out the first on your side and the 2nd on his side. But if not id probably take cmc and first for Johnson/Connor/1st/2nd. Wouldnt let the 3rd round pick be a deal breaker though

Appreciate the response. That’s what I’m trying to do right now. Tweak the picks.

Here’s the final deal. He’s awaiting my response:

Christian McCaffery
2019 3rd round pick
2020 1st round pick

David Johnson
James Connor
2019 1st round pick
2020 3rd round pick

How did I do?

Even with how good McCaff played I don't think I could give all that up for him.. I like DJ to bounce back to a top 5-10 RB and Conner isn't far off from CMC himself.

Cmc is in tier 1 with Gurley/Barkley. 2020 draft is loaded. Take the deal, dont look back..

Pending where the 2020 pick lands, I could live with the deal. It's a lot to give up but CMC looks like a huge piece to get

Easily make that trade. McCaffery is well ahead of Conner and DJ is pretty much done.

I’d take that deal and be pretty happy.

Thanks for the response guys. We’ve already made a verbal agreement to trade. Just awaiting for the commish to put it to a vote. Should pass.
I feel like it was a lot to give up for CMC, but in the end I’m looking at my starting lineup of:
QB: Dak/Trubisky
RB: Bell, CMC
WR: OBJ, Adams, Pettis
Flex: K. Johnson, Enunwa
Need a TE
Sure I lose a little depth there at RB, but I do put CMC in that same tier 1. Plus, the 2020 pick should be a 3rd-6th

this should be lopsided in favor of conner and dj and the fact it isnt means this years hype train is CMC CHOOO CHOOOOOOO my god man you people think hes gonna put up twice as good of a season as conner? lol at dj is pretty much done, id love to hear how you came to that conclusion. i could have sworn he just had almost 1500 yards and 10 TD while playing for a 3-13 team with no passing threat to speak of.

This isnt even advice ^.. you are just shunning everyone else's educated, opinions. As for the CMC train. Its perfectly well oiled, greased. Back to back top 7 RB years in PPR format. For anyone that says hes "too small" "can run between the tackles" clearly isnt watching him play. He can. Hes steroytped for being "white" lol. He avg 5.0 ypc and has a 4.6 ypc for his career.

Conner is not a special back. He has a special story (cancer survivor) and a great system which allows him to be productive. Hes probably got a couple years of rb1 in him.

David Johnson- love him but his career is going to waste. Hes hit the apex age for RBs decline. Hes on one of the worst offensive teams in the league. Sure new coaching change might help but his time to sell is this year.

With all this being said. I also believe that CMCs style of play = longetvity. A key asset for dynasty RBs. They come and go quickly. I believe cmc can have a long career as a WR/ SCatback toward the end of his career.

I don't agree I think CMC is just as much a product of his team as Conner is , CMC wouldn't catch 100+ passes on any other team other than maybe Pitt. , I'm not saying Conner is as good as CMC but he will come close enough to him in points to not add another top 5-10 RB to the deal.

DJ played 2 full years so he has a lot left in the tank , His team was a mess last year and the coach didn't use him right I think he has a huge bounce back year with a coach that will use him to his fullest.

Do we really think CMC is going to catch over 100 passes every year , I mean it's happen what 2 times in history ??

And I don't own any of the 3 RBs in any league so I'm not being bias , I was one of the people that called CMC last year when %99 of the people here said he was to small , And I hate Conner because I am a Bell owner in 6 leagues when the year started lol.

That's just my opinion , RBs change year to year , Last year before the year started DJ was god and CMC was to little.
