Dak, Zeke, Hines v Watson, Kerryon, Penny

Postby jonf86 » Wed Jan 02, 2019 10:28 am

Overall, have I improved my Team 1 Sig or gotten worse (16 team PPR, 2 TE, Superflex)?

I give: Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Nyheim Hines
I receive: Deshaun Watson, Kerryon Johnson, Rashaad Penny

This was the result of two big trades. I already have Carson, so really wanted to grab Penny as well.

For those who are curious, here are the 2 trades broken down:

Trade 1:

I give: Ezekiel Elliott, Nyheim Hines
I receive: Davante Adams, Rashaad Penny

Trade 2:

I give: Dak Prescott, Davante Adams
I receive: Deshaun Watson, Kerryon Johnson
QB: D. Watson, T. Taylor, J. Driskel, J. Johnson, C. Rush, N. Sudfeld, M. White
RB: C. McCaffrey, C. Carson, K. Johnson, R. Penny, J. Samuels, D. Pumphrey
WR: J.J. Smith-Schuster, R. Woods, L. Fitzgerald, J. Nelson, M. Gallup R. Switzer, B. Berrios, C. Batson, R. Higgins, J. Kearse
TE: G. Kittle, I. Thomas, J Doyle, W. Dissly, J. Leggett, J. Gresham, T. Conklin
16 Team Dynasty (PPR). Lineup: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, TE, FLEX, SFLEX

Trade 1 is fair but I would have stopped there. The gap between Adams and Johnson is far wider than the QB gap imo.

I'm not sure I would have done trade 2 but I also believe in Davante as a top 5 WR the next 3 years. Trade 1 looks good. If Kerryon becomes an RB1, could have been a good combination of trades

I think overall you did fine. In a 16 team SF, Watson is the best piece.

This. Not sure if many people caught the SF detail. The gap between Watson and Dak is substantial

I think this is a slight win. Elliott = Adams, but I'd rather have Penny > Hines.

Not a fan of this one. Watson > Prescott, but Adams >>> Kerryon. I don't think the QB upgrade was worth giving up Adams.

Appreciate the response. I wasn't a huge KJ guy during the draft, but I just loved his NFL tape. The nagging injuries are a little bit of a concern, but I'm probably higher on him than most.

Also, with it being a 16 team league, starting caliber rbs are few and far between. Nearly everyone can fill out their wr core, but there are teams with massive holes at rb and others who have no depth. Adams is amazing, but staying young at rb and having depth there is a major priority for me in this league.
