Phillip Lindsay and Tarik Cohen are similar RBs- small backs with limited/no draft capital and another back on the roster who can handle the bellcow primary back role. Both smaller backs are outperforming their larger backfield mates.

Re: Comparing Cohen and Lindsay
Lindsay by far, the team gave him the reigns to open the year and he's plain and simply run away with it. Whereas with Cohen they seem to keep going back to howard limiting his upside and floor
Re: Comparing Cohen and Lindsay
I like Lindsay more but wouldn't be surprised if we were only taking about Cohen in 3 years. I've doubted him pretty much every time he's succeeded so I'm sure he will continue

Re: Comparing Cohen and Lindsay
Cohen is primarily a pass catching back and Lindsey has been primarily a runner so far. They might be comparable on sign but their role on the field is vastly different. Pass catching backs tend to last the longest and be more likely to last through backfield changes so I would say Cohen is more likely to still be relevant is a couple years.

Re: Comparing Cohen and Lindsay
Own both and Like both but value Lindsey far more due to running ability. Lindsey is a two dimensional player.

Re: Comparing Cohen and Lindsay
I like both. I lost Lindsay earlier this year, but at one point had Ekeler, Cohen, and Lindsay--the "diminutive crew"
Things I like about all is that they can make people miss and have above average body density...they are strong. they run strong. they dont get hurt or nicked easily.
I prefer Cohen. I prefer him bc I like the Bears offense better through the next 3 years..I like Nagy to improve as a coach and the whole team to continue its positive trend into next year. Cohen is a huge part of the offense and involved in all facets and in crunch time. He is not just passcatching back, though he does get a lot of targets there.
As an example of Cohens usage Nagy chose Cohen to make the trick play with 3 seconds left in regulation to tie it up with the Giants. For those that didnt see, Daniel handed the ball off to Burton, who tossed it to Cohen on the reverse, who then threw it to the rookie Miller.
Cohen's value comes from every facet of the offense, and also punt returning.

Cohen was drafted in the 4th round by the current Bears GM.Pullo Vision wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 4:31 am Phillip Lindsay and Tarik Cohen are similar RBs- small backs with limited/no draft capital and another back on the roster who can handle the bellcow primary back role. I have both and like both, but being a Bears homer I will side with Cohen.
Re: Comparing Cohen and Lindsay
Lindsay for me. Lindsay has shown me more on the ground than Cohen. He also beat out Freeman who the Broncos were high on in the preseason. Cohen still seems to be behind Howard when it comes to running on the Bears pecking order. So give me Lindsay
