Vikings Kicker Curse

Is it me or have the Vikings been cursed at kicking FGs and PATs over the past few years - especially since Walsh. I just can’t take it anymore.

It’s miss after miss after miss after miss. Someone explain it to me because I can’t figure it out.

Honestly it’s to the point that I am more shocked when they make a kick than when they miss one. I can’t even watch when they line up for a FG anymore.

I think there are a lot of teams that could say that, particularly this season.

I put the mush on em by attending the game in 98. Now kicking woes and choking in the NFC Championship game are their bread and butter. Blame me. I can take it, I have zero emotional investment in what happens on the field unless money is involved. I will be the scape goat.

No, you're correct. It seems to me that the Vikings and Chargers have kicking problems almost every season.

I am with you on this... I have Bailey and have been stubbornly not dropping him thinking he’s going to be consistent. Then the Vikings Kicker curse reared it’s head again and he’s missed a bunch of kicks. Now all the good kickers are taken and I’m almost stuck riding him into the playoffs... not good.

Viking fan. It doesn't matter who is at kicker once that purple jersey is pulled on

Ghost of Gary Anderson has claimed all except Ryan Longwell in that brief period he had here

Since Daniel Carlson joined the Raiders, he's 9/10 on FGs and 11/11 on XPs. Was 1/4 on FGs with the Vikes.

Perhaps it should be called the curse of Kluwe?
