Gurley and Hunt offers

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Gurley and Hunt offers

Postby Ottie124 » Sat Nov 10, 2018 12:16 pm

Ok, trade deadline is coming up and I'm hurting for wrs. Right now I'm in first place, not sure if I can hold that for the season though. I have received 2 offers for Gurley and 1 for Hunt:
Offer 1: A. Brown and Gronk for Gurley (nm interest in that)
Offer 2: M. Evans, T. Coleman, 2019 1st (1.7-1.10), and S. Ware for Gurley
Offer 3: M. Evans for Hunt.

I really need a viable WR but I'm a bit resistant to make a trade and not get a top 5 WR in return. Part of me thinks I should just roll with Gurley, Hunt, and CMC with so-so wrs. Am I valuing my rbs too high? We are full PPR. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
D. Prescott and Dalton
T. Gurley, Kareem Hunt, C McCaffery, and Carlos Hyde
A.J. Green, Sutton, D. Thomas, M. Crabtree, M. Goodwin, Desean Jackson, Enunwa,
Kittle, D. Walker, ASJ
10 team PPR

wow, that AJG injury really hurt you...
i don't know what nm stands for in (nm interest in that), but i hope you meant "no interest in that" because i don't like that offer at all
evans for hunt is a little better, but i would rather a RB included in that offer

you could try to go after cheaper guys like MVS, Sanders, Hilton, DT, Marvin Jones
or spend a little more for guys like Kupp or Diggs

for the lesser guys, you could offer up Cohen (obviously MVS will likely cost at least your first plus Cohen )...but depending on the status of the teams that own sanders, DT, Marvin....Cohen may be enough

in a 10 team league with (what appears to be) shallow rosters, there should be some players on the ww....you list only 16 players, so guys like M Harris might be on the ww...btw: i would drop Dixon for any WR that might be a starter...

could you give us a list of WRs on the ww?

Nm=not much interest, our benches are pretty heavy with 15 players in a 10 team. I got on right after I posted when I noticed my signature needed some updating, I have traded Cohen already. But yes, the AJG injury hurt me pretty bad.

Absolutely do not accept any of these offers lol. You should be getting at least 2 every day starters for gurley plus a prospect or picks. Hunt is not far behind. If I'm giving up a 1for1 trade like option 3, I would need at least d.adams(personally), and that still wouldn't get it done. Wish I had accepted a Hunt owner's offer during week 2 of hunt for Keenan straight up. 😥

I would not entertain any of those offers

D. Prescott and Dalton
T. Gurley, Kareem Hunt, C McCaffery, and Carlos Hyde
A.J. Green, Sutton, D. Thomas, M. Crabtree, M. Goodwin, Desean Jackson, Enunwa,
Kittle, D. Walker, ASJ

that looks much better....i think you may be able to weather the AJG storm...but i am in the same boat as you with AJG and a 9-0 record thus far....i have been eliminated in the first week of playoffs often due to a late injury...check out my hilton post if you would
thanks
edit: still list only 16 players on the roster and only a 10 team league....i would still like to see the WR ww...there must be someone on there...i have 12 teams and 25 man rosters and regularly find someone on the ww to help in a pinch

u can play all three RB studs. Gives you an envious floor and ceiling. Don’t break that up unless you are getting a masssive return. Those offers are bad. Play WR with good floors.

Piling on, all are crap. To put in perspective, I offered Chubb, Landry, and a 1st for Hunt and was rejected. Was told even Julio and Chubb might not get it done which is why I haven't even tried.
