Olsen vs Brady or Rivers

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Olsen vs Brady or Rivers

Postby Trevormortis » Thu Nov 08, 2018 2:17 pm

For team 1 in sig. I'm currently the 1st place team. Top points. Going for it all. Only (real) QB I have is Big Ben. I have been offered either Rivers or Brady for my Olsen. I also have Kelce and Ebron for my TE's.

That's a pretty easy accept for Rivers, right?

Absolutely. Olsen is a luxury to you. Rivers makes you a lot more formidable.

Trade accepted, thanks all. You wouldn't play Rivers over Ben this week?

I don't agree with the back up part. If you take Rivers, you can play matchups, that's what I have been doing all year with Ryan and Rivers. But I like this trade, and I like Rivers more than Brady at this point.

Depends. I can see the Chargers getting out to an early lead and just running the ball for 3 quarters. Whereas Pitt and Carolina could be a high scoring game.

Don't disagree...either way, Rivers or Ben would be the "good backup" even if you play matchups. The point is, I think having two good QBs is worth making the trade.
