Since it is the Browns, I am putting my money on Jeff Fisher....

They should promote a RB coach or someone like that so Williams and Haley can keep focusing on what they do best. Watch how much better the offense will be now.

Haley fired as well . . . looks like Saunders might take control of the offense, which seems like a plus to me.

Can't believe it took this long. Jimmy Haslam is the worst owner in the NFL. He's ruined the Browns AND the VOLS. I wish he'd take pilot and go to another state.

Hue is probably talking Haslam into promoting to him to GM as we speak.

So long, Dorsey...

Firing your head coach and offensive coordinator on the same day... the ownership of this team is not competent.

12-team SF, PPR, TE premium, 0.25 PPCarry
1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1SF 4Flex
QB: Mahomes, Fields, Love
RB: Bijan, ETN, Pollard, Achane, Herbert
WR: Kupp, Hill, Metcalf, Ridley, Jeudy, D.J. M, Burks, Hollywood, Wan'Dale
TE: Kyle Pitts, Goedert

Just in, sold him a minority stake in the team

"CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Browns did not have to search far for their replacement for Coach Hue Jackson, as the front office kept things in house and elevated longtime assistant Al Saunders to interim head coach.

WKYC’s Jim Donovan confirmed that Saunders was named the Browns’ interim head coach shortly after Jackson’s dismissal Monday.

Saunders has been in the coaching profession for nearly 50 years, including more than three decades in the National Football League
".

This was reported by NBC Channel 3 in Cleveland.

I don't really get the firing of Haley, unless some of the offensive players complained about him. Just seems like a whole new system that Mayfield has to learn in the middle of a season. That's rarely a good thing for a QB.

And Haley. All new offensive identity incoming.

I doubt Saunders wants the HC job, but he is the best choice, imo.

Zampese as OC seems like a depressing prospect, if it does go to him.

Just saw it reported that there's gonna be a meeting with only Williams, Saunders, Dorsey, and Haslam. This suggests to me that Saunders will double as HC/OC.

After watching some of Hard Knocks, I'm not shocked to see Haley go too. Both him and Jackson were/are buffoons.
