WKYC’s Jim Donovan confirmed that Saunders was named the Browns’ interim head coach shortly after Jackson’s dismissal Monday.

I don't really get the firing of Haley, unless some of the offensive players complained about him. Just seems like a whole new system that Mayfield has to learn in the middle of a season. That's rarely a good thing for a QB.

Just saw it reported that there's gonna be a meeting with only Williams, Saunders, Dorsey, and Haslam. This suggests to me that Saunders will double as HC/OC.
