In a vacuum, would you rather have Robert Woods or Courtland Sutton?

Yeah I asked the Sutton owner about a swap prior to last night's game and was soundly rejected.

I can't believe you offered that much up! First, slap yourself for doing so, second, have a drink to celebrate him rejecting your offer haha

Wasn't a formal offer...only considered it because Sutton is taxiable and I'm rebuilding so it would help me get a better draft pick.

This year Woods without questions. But long term Sutton (especially if DT moves on from Denver).

Agreed, if I'm competing give me woods but long term I have high hopes for Sutton.

As long as Woods is playing for Sean McVay, its Woods...even when DT is gone. I do not believe DT is clearly out of DEN next year...just like I'm not sure how long Woods will remain in LA (considering they will need to pay Goff soon and they've already paid a lot of other players). This is close for me but I will take the guy producing now.

Yeah...what he said. What has Sutton even done at this point?! I don't get it. I hate rookie fever.

Sutton has WR1 staying power. Woods may have had his best season last year.

What are you talking about? Woods is having a MUCH better season so far this year than last. He's on pace for 93/1560/10 (counting rushing yards). I asked this question 2 weeks ago, and since then Woods has had 10 catches, 249 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown, which is almost twice Sutton's production for the season (10/69/1). If it was close when I asked, it's not now. At a certain point the player who is currently producing at a high level needs to be valued over the player who we think will produce in a season or two.

I need people like you in my league. I'll trade my unproven second rd rookie for your established, vet WR in a top 3 offense, averaging 20 fantasy points per game ANY day.

I think by the end of 2019 it will be Sutton by a landslide.

It depends on your mindset. I'm rebuilding which makes it easily Sutton. Contenders would prefer Woods.
But I agree, if Sutton keeps progressing and the Rams keep all 3 WRs, most would lean Sutton at some point during 2019. (assuming at least one of Eman and DT are gone to pave the way for increased production opportunities)
