Made some contested catches early...decent routes. When Wilson started looking downfield, he moved away from Marshall.

Re: Week 2 Discussion
We've all seen and read the same things about Bortles, that he wouldn't be in the league after his rookie deal.
As long as Chicago's defense remains solid, a la Jacksonville, Trubisky is going to get his 4 or 5 years. That will give you as an owner plenty of time to draft a replacement or trade him away.
Season is young and let's watch how Trubisky develops over the next couple months. Remember that they were a Kyle Fuller horrendous dropped interception away from being 2-0. Mitch has had his spurts but has to get more consistent.

Nice Miller had a beautiful route for a TD. Now Trubisky just needs learn how to make a progression past his first read
I may or may not be related to Bryan Edwards

First two sentences sound like Dez. Would be interesting to compare Marshall's contract with Dez contract expectations.steelman wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 8:47 pmLooks kind of like he always did, although maybe a bit slower and less explosive. He's a big body that is going to come down with contested catches. I don't know if there's much else in the cards for him. He's going to be TD dependent. I don't see him getting much in the way of YAC nor do I see him going deep at all, so that will limit his yards.

Re: Week 2 Discussion
He looked like late career James Jones. Still great at contested catches, but watching him cut on a route makes you doublecheck you're watching the game at full speed.
There was one out or comeback route in the 3rd where Russ threw the ball right as Marshall was cutting, and he was still cutting when the ball hit the ground where a normal-speed WR would be.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Re: Week 2 Discussion
He looked really slow getting back to the ball at times. I just have the one comeback route stuck in my head. CB ran the route faster than he did.steelman wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 8:47 pmLooks kind of like he always did, although maybe a bit slower and less explosive. I'm not ready to give up on Trubisky yet. The earliest they'll be able to bring in a highly touted rookie QB to compete is 2021. He's not even started 30 games in his career and he's flashed some moments of real brilliance. If he continues getting chances to develop, I honestly believe he can have a long career.

Nothing is funnier than Gruden being frustrated at the lack of a pass rush they have... like damn dude...Phaded wrote: ↑Tue Sep 18, 2018 8:47 am Re: Khalil Mack
