Time to Cut Bait on Greg Olsen?

In my dynasty squad Gronk is the starter while Kittle, Hooper, Gesicki & Hurst are developmental stashes. I've hung onto Greg Olsen as a possible Gronk bye week stash, or possible trade bait to a TE-needy team, aware that 2018 would likely be his final season. After yesterday's game he's reportedly on crutches and in a walking boot. We may not see him play football again.

Is there any reason I shouldn't cut bait on him now and make room for somebody else? His Carolina replacement, Ian Thomas, and also now-out-for-the-season-and-maybe forever Delanie Walker's replacement in Tennessee, Jonnu Smith, are on the waiver wire in this league.

I did try to shop Olsen around to league rivals for a 3rd or 4th round future draft pick in recent weeks but nobody bit. I can't imagine anyone would bite now. It seems like it's time to bid farewell but please do tell me if you think that's the wrong move - and if so why?
