I've been hounded by one owner for Godwin lately he recently offered Zay Jones and Brandon Marshall for him. I'm not sure what I have in Jones to be honest, he had a decent rookie year and may be WR 2 in Tampa by years end, but will he be a stud?

I'm thinking of countering by offering pick 13 and Godwin for pick 8.

I also have picks 21,22,27,33 for trade ammo

Thoughts?

Looking at your team I would make this trade but I would wait till it’s close to being on the clock to make sure you can snag one of the RBs that falls cause one will

I'd wait until you're OTC if possible but I think it's a fair deal with the WRs you have

who are you taking with 8? if you dont know, i would not make this trade. there are solid players at 13 and godwin is a nice piece. this trade does not favor you if your not sure who you want imo.

i would easily give up godwin to move up to pick 8 and i would take a wr if kerryon is the only rb left

I wouldn't do it. Pick 13 will probably get you one of the following: Sutton, Gallup, Miller or Washington. One of these + Godwin seems like an overpay for pick 8 which will probably be Ridley, Freeman, Johnson or Kirk.

I think it is fair. I like Godwin a lot and it would be tough to give him up. I would wait until 8 is OTC to see is an RB you like is there. But I would be seeing if Jones or chubb falls to do it.

If your determined to get a RB like Johnson or Freeman then yes you need to move to 8 spot. Otherwise I don’t think it’s worth it.

I would not do that. I would hang on to Godwin and get Miller/Sutton/Kirk at the 13 pick. You don’t seem that hard up for rb’s right now, which would make me lean best player available.

Thanks for the sound advice, think I'll hold on to Godwin. I like jones or Royce at 8 but maybe there is a better way to move up.

I don't think there is any gap in talent between 8 and 13

If he wants him so bad package 2 later 2nds and Godwin and ask for 8 and test how much the guy wants him. Also, I don’t understand the Godwin obsession so I value him much lower than most.

Yeah I wouldn’t give up Godwin and the 13th pick just to move up a few spots.

keep godwin, i like him better than most wrs in this class
