Shepard + for Jimmy Graham +

Im in the market for a TE as I am weak at that spot. I offered DeSean Jackson and Josh Reynolds for Graham. He Countered asking for Shepard but throwing in pick 11.

So right now its DeSean Jackson plus Sterling Shepard and Reynolds for Graham and pick 11. I am leaning towards no its too much. He has pick 17 as well. What I am wondering is if I ask him to add pick 17 in addition to Pick 11 and Graham for Shepard and Jackson and Reynolds is this fair, if not which side is getting the better deal?

Graham should be worth more than DJax (I don’t know the ADP variance but positional scarcity practically mandates this). However Reynolds brings nothing to the table. Shepard is probably only worth a late 1st so I don’t actually have a problem with the deal as is. Pick 17 is probably too much to ask for. If you like Reynolds you could probably drop him from the deal

I think I would make that trade, but I am not that high on Shepard either as I think his target share goes way down this year with OBJ back, Engram with an extra year and now Barkley to feed.

No offense taken, it just seemed like you missed part of the discussion. So pick 11 and pick 17 is probably Kirk or Gallup or Gesicki or Washington. Those players really interest me and there is a chance I could bundle those and move into the first round if I play my cards right.

He’s thinking of asking for pick 17 on top, but you’re right. Reynolds is definitely waiver fodder and DJax isn’t worth more than a late 2nd to a believer. So Shepard plus a late 2nd for a late first and Graham seems like an easy accept without the addition of pick 17

Jackson = 3rd, Reynolds maaaybe = 4th. Shepard = 1.11, so you're essentially getting 2.05 + Graham for free. Accept that quickly.
