Winstons 'leash' is hopefully a little longer this week after an interception free game. He has 4 straight good (or better) defences coming up in Carolina, NO, Dallas & Baltimore - so it will be interesting for sure to see how this plays out down the stretch.

I now own Mike Evans in all three of my leagues, very good to see him with back to back 100+ yard games

Some stability at quarterback has to help

1 - I am hoping OP will rename the thread to a more generic Winston thread so we can keep discussing Winston fantasy value going forward

2 - This may be the first of many hopeful drumbeats that shows Winston is back on track or it may just be total coachspeak

My guess is that Arians does not take over as Coach if TB management didnt pretty much assure him Winston was the franchise QB & I dont think they would do so if Winston did not have more supporters than plenty of people seemed to think. And of course shown he could continue to learn & mature as a QB & person.

Huge mistake, imo. Winston hasn't shown any growth or maturity in 4 NFL seasons and provided little reason to think that's going to suddenly change. He's won fewer than 40% of his starts and Arians thinks he can win it all? Good luck...lol

Maybe this is true, maybe it's not. But based on what we saw from his play this past season, there's a lot of work to be done before I'd value Winston as a top-10 dynasty QB. I don't own him anywhere, and I've been off Winston ever since that eating Ws video.

Interesting comment from a league mate who's a Bucs fan. He says Bucs should bring in Kareem Hunt for rb to take the heat off of Winston, both on the field and pr wise lol

"Who cares that your franchise qb may have groped a girl in college, your starting runingback kicked one on camera!"

Call me crazy and I don't have a daughter but I'd rather you kicked her foot/leg than groped her sexual bits.

I certainly do not blame anyone for not taking that risk. Obviously this off-season will be very telling - and we'll see what kind of news comes up.
