Roto put out this blurb today...

Obviously you can't talk offseason talk too seriously, but that is nice vote of confidence....
With Powell gone possibly McGuire might be a nice guy to keep as a possible flex option.

Wtf? You talk about not taking coach speak too seriously then want us to buy into rotoworld thinking Powell COULD be cut to make McQuire a relevant 3rd down back. This entire post is b.s. coach talk. Neither will happen. Powell will remain
As he always has, and life will go on with McGuire on the p.s. or being cut...

Move along, nothing to see here

I don't have an issue talking about cutting Powell, it was the LT comp that was kooky.

I’m more likely to believe McGuire is the next LT than I would that he will be practice squad or cut. Because neither is true. But I like McGuire a lot, and could easily see him carving out a meaningful, if not the most meaningful, role in that offense.

Does anyone think the Thomas Rawls of old returns? He didn't look right last year, but when he was healthy in 2016 he was a beast. Still only 24 as well.

I just took McGuire in round 16 of an MFL10. I'll take the bait that he could rise above Powell. Sure at that price, why not. But I'm not really buying the Tomlinson comparable.

That is the most epic level of coach speak so far this season...

Wow, amazing how far the NFL has come that an LT clone would be a round 16 startup pick. #progress

McGuire is LT/AP/Marshall Faulk all in one. If he gets his chances, then it’s all over.

Don't buy into coach talk like that.. Just don't. LT was a one of a kind and there's no comparison, even having half of LTs college production

You mean 2015 and no, zero chance. He's not been good since returning from injury.

He's probably comparing him to LT when LT was a Jet.

I actually think he was being compared to a Left Tackle. Maybe he beefed up to handle 3 down back roll?

With Faulk on their bench, imagine what is in the starting rotation?! Buy season tickets!
