Made this trade for team in sig and wanted to make sure I was long the right line of thinking as I am still trying to get a good sense of how to value the top end IDP guys.

Trade was I get Bosa and 2 2019 2nds for Marlon Mack and Corey Coleman.

With our scoring Bosa was the DL5 (counting K. Mack) and had 197 points. Chandler Jones had 220. I feel like he is worth a late 1st in this format. I know I am higher on M. Mack than most as I think his value will go up to a late 1st at some point in season but I still think I did alright here by giving myself a stud starter for my IDP and I get two pieces with the picks that I can use in season to buy players from non-contenders to go for the ship.

Was this a good trade?

I recently made trades for K. Mack and Hunter similar to this, seems like an overpay, but if your league puts a premium on DE's and you got your guy, I'd have done the same

This is what I was thinking. Mack and Coleman are worth around a 2nd each right now, so getting Bosa on top is great!

I know that some guys value Mack at a 2nd and Coleman for a lot less so I did think it wasn't a terrible deal even I like both guys I gave up.

I don’t see Mack/Coleman as worth more than a 2nd each, so you got one of the top IDP assets for free the way I see it. In some IDP formats those two players wouldn’t get Bosa alone.

I could see mack being worth a 2nd. Coleman on the other hand in a 12 team superflex idp league where free agents are available in the rookie draft I am thinking about taking him at 5.03, have 3 picks before me right now. Now having free agents does push value down some but so far only 5 have been taken so far and only a few have real value.
