It's been proposed before and I've been against it but maybe we really should consider a system that includes years in the bidding. Cuz players are overwhelmingly against large one year deals (such as the FT) so there's no way they'd actually choose it over a good long term deal.

1) 2 hours is a long 10 minutes

2) If you pay attention, I just did *ALL* my bids on every player.

3) Said bids all came immediately after I WON some players, which is what I was waiting for

We could just let him win all the QBs and have him gut his roster fitting them all in

In the WhatsApp group (you guys should really join btw) we were talking about ways we could do UFA differently. I'm at the top of the queue. I'd be real interested in some kind of blind bidding system and do away with all this.

Honestly, adding years to the bid that’s been proposed is a good alternative. Most people won’t be willing to take on 2 or 3 years of bonus money for a 60+k bid. It should, theoretically, cut down on the overal cost of FAs.

Um obviously he's going to trade a few of his rentals for somebody's stud on a long term deal.
