Greg Olsen Value

I have had someone offer a high 3rd, but I'm thinking I might as well hold onto him for that. Now that we know he will be back for at least a year or two, what pick would you take for him?

I traded a late 2nd for him before the contract extension news came out. I would say with the contract extension you should at least be able to get a early-to-mid 2nd from a contender.

I don't see any point in trading him for anything less than an early 2nd or late 1st if you're competing. A 3rd is just horrible.

Yeah, pretty much what I thought. I countered with a mid 2nd and got the "way too steep" reply.

I traded him for Marqise Lee to a TE-needy team. Gets me younger and maybe Lee holds flex value as JAX lead WR. I felt like Olsen would retire next season and he still could despite the contract.

Why? Hes still 4 years younger than Gates/Witten, who are still playing.

If you're competing, hold. You won't get true value. In a rebuild, I'd want an early 2nd.

A third is insulting.. Just hold onto him and enjoy TE1 numbers for 2 more years (hopefully at least)
