Why smother something good on something so bad? I'd rather smothering something else with that stuff.

Popcorn is pretty tasteless itself - it's about the texture.

I once had somebody tell me that a fish was delicious because it was EXTREMELY mild. It reminded me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer got a meat slicer and sliced a piece of meat so thin you couldn't even see it.

Maybe chicken wings is a better analogy than fish. Pretty much anything you can put on wings can also go on popcorn (and thus require a spoon).
