So, been considering pursuing Mixon in a couple of leagues just to see where folks stand with him.
My wondering is with Amari Cooper getting hyped back up lately and Mixon under performing and the Bengals renewing the head coach, which one is worth more and by how much?
Who is worth more and by how much?

Re: Who is worth more and by how much?
I think Cooper currently has higher value right now but it's close. Mixon started to show that he can be the lead guy at the end of last season and I think we're going to see more of that this year. I was trying to trade Cooper to the Mixon owner and the offer came down to my Cooper + 2.07 for Mixon + Kupp and while he agreed it was a fair offer, he wasn't willing to budge on Mixon.

Re: Who is worth more and by how much?
I think they're pretty close, and "by how much" will be personal preference. I wouldn't want to add anything significant to either side, but others' valuations will vary.

I wouldn't want to add anything to either guy in exchange for the other. Very even to me.

If I had Cooper and you came at me with Mixon--you had better add something to that. I think Mixon is highly over rated and simply isn't worth as mush to me as Cooper

Re: Who is worth more and by how much?
I wouldn't trade Mixon for Cooper. Give me the guy showing some potential of breaking out.
Last year
Cooper-96 targets-48 catches- 680 yards- 7TD
Sanu- 96 targets- 67 catches-703 yards- 8TD
Agholor- 95 targets- 62 catches- 768 yards - TD
Now does that mean you trade Cooper for Sanu or Agholor probably not, but fantasy football is about production. I just think Cooper is an over priced asset at this time. I also worry about the new coach at Oakland- I am not as high on Gruden as a lot of people are.
My two cents.

Kind of a silly stat to reference given that the guy you're favoring to him looks even worse amidst his peers.Smoking Guns wrote: ↑Sun Apr 08, 2018 10:37 am I wouldn't trade Mixon for Cooper. Give me the guy showing some potential of breaking out.

Joe Mixon - 178 carries, 626yds, 3.5ypc, 4 TD
Jonathan Stewart - 198 carries, 680yds, 3.4ypc, 6 TD
Orleans Darkwa - 171 carries, 751yds, 4.4ypc, 5 TD
At least for Cooper we can say that was an outlier bad year relative to the rest of his career so far.

I'm a Mixon believer, but voted Amari based on proven prior production and now should be more center of attention. They're close enough, I'd go with whichever guy you'd like having on your team more.
