Mahomes or McCoy - in a vacuum?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Mahomes or McCoy - in a vacuum?

Postby smallxl » Mon Mar 26, 2018 8:02 am

I know this may be hard to answer without looking at rosters, but in terms of a trade would it be far fetched if someone traded McCoy for Mahomes?

Close if this is superflex. In a 1QB league, the McCoy side by a huge margin.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

I’d still want to know what size the league is and if qbs get 4 or 6 pts for passing tds, and if it’s ppr. 16 teams or more, not full ppr, and 6pts pass td and it’s closer

no, just no....are you suggesting mahomes an elite option? either now or the future???

in a 1qb league this is a gamble id take 100/100.... you/we may miss, but you cant pass up on a shady mccoy for a player x (even if it is in the short term)...essentially here, you will hopefully find the next mahomes.

I would actually go a bit farther the other way, and say if it's superflex then Mahomes solidly, if it's 1qb then McCoy by a bit. Shady's mileage is worrying me for 2018, while few rookie QBs have had as solid an easing into the league as Mahomes.

Mahomes hasn't shown anything in an NFL, and is still only worth his ~early/mid 3rd round rookie pick value in a 1QB league

a one year rental of an RB1 is worth more than that
