Burfict has cost me enough when he's been suspended or injured during fantasy playoffs! Plus, this was first trade of off season in this league - had to grease the wheels a little.

Gave up Gio, got back Marcus Maye & a 4th & 5th.

I don't love losing Mixon's handcuff, but with the balanced scoring that exists in this league, that 4th round pick by itself could easily net me a future starter on defense, or a solid depth guy on offense. And Maye gives me a little depth at DB.

24 teams, 40 man rosters (960 rostered, not including IR). The scoring is somewhat balanced (IDP big play bonuses). Calais Campbell JAX DL was the DL1, right behind the LB6 and the RB26.

Dante Fowler III was the DL31. [I had been looking for a way to get good value from Fowler for a while, because while I like his talent, I’m not sure when he will get the chance to be a starting DE, nor do I feel confident he will make it there without suspension(s).] Trade was made in February.

I had a feeling that NYG was going to switch to a 3-4 and tried to trade Vernon before it was made official, but I got no bites. I was happy to get that value back for him after the LB designation was applied.

I like this trade for sure. Losing the 1.11 stings but getting an early 2019 1st sets you up nicely for one of the stud WRs coming out.

Love the deal too...I own Bynes as well (FA add last season) and fingers crossed he puts up decent LB2 #s this season for AZ.
