2018 NFL Draft Discussion / News Thread

Just a thread to keep a record of all the NFL transactions, news, rumours that have occurred since the Super Bowl that pertain to the 2018 NFL draft, and then hopefully the thread can also be used for discussions during the Draft itself, like the 2018 Combine thread was. :)

So basically while other threads are for discussing specifically that news (say the Jets trading up to 3) - this is meant more of a warehouse to store the info until the draft actually begins.

I'll re-post some of the news / rumours and hopefully others will add as we go along.

(edit)

Also if the moderators choose to move this to the NFL Discussion forum - that is fine - my intention with this thread is

(a) to have an easy access to info for owners for fantasy purposes while they prepare for the NFL Draft

(b) have a ready made thread for owners to talk on during the NFL draft like the Combine thread was for the Combine.

Article speculating that this trade is reminiscent of when Eagles moved up for Wentz.

I added this link because it seems to be listing all the pre NFL Draft trades that involve draft picks - so thats a handy thing to have imo.

Oh definitely keep updates on the pro days for the skill position players. I heard Washington didnt have a very good pro day.

Thats bizarre. I just read that he dropped a lot of passes. I need to dig that up. Interesting that the Steelers are rumored to like him. Arent they deep at WR?

You need three good WRs these days. Bryant is on his way out and didn't Eli Rogers hurt his knee in the playoffs?

I would be very disappointed if he landed there. He'd be at best the WR 3 on his own team.

I'm adding this because the Raiders move up into the 5th from the 6th as part of the trade - so it has (slight) draft implications

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=157027

Thread discussing Patterson value on Patriots (likely limited unless you use return yardage) - but with the Patriots who knows?

Another minor trade that involves late round draft pick moves.

Olawale & a 6th to Cowboys for a 5th.

Probably doesnt hurt for Zeke (not sure how often he runs behind FB).
