Where is everyone at with Sammy?
If he was part of a trade offer today (before free agency) where do you slot him in with the other top WRs?
Also who is his closest comparison WR?

Pretty far down there, 20 something. I still have faith in him and think he can turn his career around, but he's just too risky to carry significant value in fantasy

He's one of those guys that seems like he never really pulls it all together. Seems like a good prospect but he's getting too old to be considered a prospect.

He's only 24. That's not old at all.

As for OP's question, I would personally still pay up to 1.02 for him. He's worth around Alshon, Baldwin to me.

I will admit I have not followed his entire career closely but I do not get the inconsistent label. At this stage I think the only answer to this poll is 17+. I like to bet on talent and upside so to me he is around WR 20-25 in my rankings but could easily see him as a top 10 WR in a year.

Things I know or I think are true:
He is a top 10 talent WR
His career in Buffalo, other than when he was injured = stud WR #1 for NFL and fantasy
Until this year, talent was not a concern but injury issues were
The move to the Rams tells us nothing at this point about his value. Still has the pedigree to be a #1 WR, but the truth is he did not produce in a high powered offense in 2017- which IMO brings up the real question marks about his future value.

With that said fantasy football is all about hitting upside and I still believe that he has the talent and upside to produce for NFL and FF purposes.

Right now he’s probably around WR20 for me, but I think he’s one of the few guys in that range that could easily produce WR1 numbers

Sold him (with 2 yrs remaining on his contract) for a 1.12 and was happy to get it. I've also got him pegged about wr20

Top 4 WR for what?? His own team?

I'd say he's in the WR 15-20 range currently, but like others have said he has the talent and draft pedigree to make a big jump up the rankings.

I still believe he has the talent to squeeze into top 12 but I don't see it happening with Goff. He needs a gunslinger to reach full potential.

There's 16 I'd take before him, not necessarily in order (just in the order I thought about them). Not including rookies, I'd lump him in with the following group because of his upside (I'd say he has the best upside of the group, actually):

Watkins, A-Rob (I'm very low on him), Parker, Fuller, TY, Alshon, DT, Dez.

I think we need to welcome Sammy Watkins himself to our forum. He is the only guy who would vote top4. But I think it was the OP who voted that... or why else would he make that an option? Whoever voted top 4 WR needs to speak up. Because you just picked Sammy over one of OBJ,AB,Nuke or Julio!

Nope. Not me. It was late when I was making the post and just was trying to get some options out there. I would put him 15-20 probably.

I'd buy for a mid 2nd, won't sell for anything less than a late 1st. If you have him you're better off holding.
