Alex Smith Traded To Washington

Per Kansas City Star. Smith also gets a 4-year contract extension on top of the year he had remaining. So, he's in Washington for the forseeable future.

A lot of implications here:

-Cousins is guaranteed to be on a new team next season.
-Mahomes will be starting in Kansas City.
-How does Smith affect Washington's current offense?

This is wild! based on Kirks recent comments, which suggested that Winning is his main motivation, i'm going to guess Denver is the major player for him. Excited to see where he ends up, because that offence skyrockets in value. Where do you think he'll end up?

Cousins? Jets or the Browns, they can afford to give him the most money, Denver is strapped for cash a bit and there have already been rumors they'd want Tyrod who should be much cheaper than Cousins.

I hope cousins signs with the jags and they sign/tag arob

They were so close to going to the Superbowl before Bortles crapped away their lead by going 3 and out for the last 4 drives of the game

Doesnt mean that Denver cant clear house (starting with Talib) for a player like this. The other team id be really excited for is Arizona

Cousins to browns makes some good sense here use the 1st and 4th to get barkley and a stud on d...trade down and get more picks. Helps browns a ton if they could land cousins. Trade back and land barkley and minkah.

Denver, Jets and Browns seems like a safe bet on the three biggest suitors. Though, the Browns have a high enough pick to go QB and not spend. I'm starting to think the Jets.

Now that the bromance between Cousins and Crowder is broken..... Josh Doctson anyone?
Assuming he stays healthy of course.

If I can pick my team, which Cousins can, there is no way I am signing with the Browns.

Crowder may be better with Smith, he is exactly Smith's type of player.

can anyone explain to me why the skins hate Cousins so much? They would really rather extend an old game-manager than Kirk. Makes no sense at all.

I like the Broncos fit, Elway goes for big names. Cousins to DT would be sick. Browns are intriguing, don't like the Jets really. No receivers there. Never understood why Washington refused to pony up the bucks. He carried them with little to play with at times. I remember watching them put up 30+ pts on the Queens with ease and his first bomb was to some guy even I had not heard of. That's rare for me, but he can sling it.

I dunno. We saw a whole new side to Alex this season. Maybe he takes that with him.
