For Fun - Worst Trade offers of 2018

I was not involved in this one personally, but a friend texted me this one last night:
- He receives Corey Clement, Austin Ekeler (he owns Gordon), and a 2019 first.
- He gives Alvin Kamara.

This one requires some context: 16 team league superflex, PP reception/rush.

About an 30 minutes before I received the offer, the other owner gave up (in another deal):

• Jay Ajayi, 2019 1st FOR Philip Rivers, Danny Amendola

Cool, fine, good job dude.

30 minutes later, this drops into my mailbox:

• Philip Rivers FOR Jameis Winston, James Conner

Along with an attempt at a fear-inducing message re: Winston/Conner's future.

Hey man I know your QB is a lot younger than mine and playing some amazing football for points but send me him and this guy who looks to be a top 20 back next year

These are from a devy league, team I inherited midseason last year, which is a complete dumpster fire, I'm just trying to keep the younger pieces and get what value I can from the rest. Other party is a DLF writer, you think he'd know better but whatever.

In June, he offered (unsolicited):

I Give: Kupp
He gives: 2019 5th round pick.

Last week, I noticed he was starting F. Gore at RB and his top 3 depth pieces (Thompson, Bernard, and one other, I forget whom) were all injured. Approached him about possibly trading Buck Allen (who has scored double digits in 5 of 6 weeks) for something small, like maybe a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

He spams me with these:

I give: C. Ridley & DJ Moore
I get: AJ Derby, R. Ellison and a 2019 5th round pick

#2:
I give: Jonathan Taylor, David Montgomery
I get: 2019 3rd and 5th round picks.

Needless to say, won't be looking at his team for trades any time soon.

Maybe the owner before you did something to piss them off and they are taking it out on you!

Otherwise, these trade offers are terrible. Maybe he is hoping you are new and can be tricked easily...

I guess neither owner felt it was the worst trade offer they had gotten.

On a serious note - I actually like trades like this occasionally - shows that the guy buying Mack/Carson believes in them. And you never know - Bell could decide to pull a Mendenhall and retire unexpectedly (Mendenhall apparently works for an HBO show now ).

Now back to joking around

My guess is it was a team co-owned by lukkynumber13 & yeti that went all in on Carson & Mack.
