I will eat serious crow if they do not make it. In fact, if I am wrong, I will post the entire month of February under any chosen name( by the rest of the forum). Minimum 10 posts per day too. Not the MVP part, that was partly sarcasm.

If I had to bet on teams to make the big game, I'd say my favorites are the Vikings and the Steelers. If I could bet on any given team vs the field, I'd easily take the field. I think the Vikings are the best team in the NFC, but to say they are almost definitely making it is ignoring how the game of football typically plays out. (Also ignoring Vikings history of crazy playoff disasters)

If I had to choose two teams today I'd go with the Vikings and the Steelers as well, Great defense with a good offense for the vikings, great offensive with a good defense for the Steelers. I dont think any defense in the AFC is good enough to stop the Steelers, but I do think the Rams or the Saints can give the Vikings a run for their money

Haha, yeah I know. I was there in 98 and in Nawlins the Favre year. Tough losses.

Not sure how Pittsburgh is gonna make the super bowl as long as New England is still around...

1998 was understandable with Atlanta fired up over Dan Reeves cancer issues. It was a close game with a lot of emotion. Getting blown out by the Giants two years later was probably the worst one to me and really signaled the end for that offense. Robert Smith retired. Carter was out a year later. Culpepper got hurt and Moss derailed...

that landry catch sealed my fate.
If Miami had just ran the ball three times they win. Instead they decide to throw it twice..

Eh, they haven't shown the ability to learn from tape in the past. I wouldn't bet against NE given how weak sauce the AFC is this year.

The Pats haven't exactly lit the world on fire either..

To be quite honest, I don't see a dominant team in either conference. Makes me actually look forward to the playoffs this year.

Not related to the games, but let's check in on Big Ben hearing that an ex-teammate has been suspended for sexual harassment.
