For team in sig. I'm currently 8-2 and second in points total.

I was offered Gronk C.Thompson, and an early 3rd for my Parker, Henry, and a likely late 2nd.

Bit of a overpay according to trade calculators, but I feel Gronk is the best piece here and could help push me over the top.
Its a 10 team, 10 keeper league, so my thought process is to get the best players possible and have a hybrid dynasty/redraft approach to roster construction.

Thinking about countering by having him swap Thompson for Crabtree.
Just looking for some wisdom while I consider my options.

I should have made it clear that Gronk would basically slide into my flex spot in this situation.
Lineup would likely be:
Dak
2 RB with best matchups
Hopkins, Evans, Thielen
Ertz and Gronk

While Gronk is the best piece, given that you have Ertz, I would stay put. I would see if he has another RB that can be serviceable for you down the stretch. It looks like this is your real need. Gronk would just be insurance and C. Thompson doesn't get the job done enough for me in a .5 ppr to give up Parker and Henry and a pick.

If you didn't have ertz, for sure. With ertz, I would say no.

do it. i start both ertz and gronk and i love it. you wont start either player in parker and henry this season. if you wanna win you gotta do stuff like this

Since you're going to use him as your flex and already have a stud TE, see what other player Henry, Parker, and a 2nd will get you. I'd bet you can get a better RB or WR with those pieces than Gronk.

I'd look to move Parker / Henry for a rb upgrade. Your rb depth seems pretty thin to me. Or make the move and then look to flip Gronk for a rb upgrade to a te needy team. Actually adding Thompson at rb in a ppr league isn't a bad deal with Kelly going out, he may see even more touches.

Pretty difficult trading in this league, so upgrade at RB has been a struggle.

I took the deal as it stood and will now have a decent RB2 for playoffs and Gronk added to flex
