With Rob Kelly out and Perine not looking great, is Marshall worth an add?

Anyone know anything about him?

I grabbed him as a priority UDFA last year but he did not last on my roster.

His ceiling to me is as a pass catching back and they have Thompson, so meh.

First, it's a passing offense anyway.
Secondly, Perine has actually progressed from the start of the season. Being a Skins homer I've seen every snap. The first few games he was thinking too much instead of just reacting. He does look better now and barring injury he'll be the 60 of a 60-40 split with Thompson. The last two games they've been shuffling the starting O-line and he's still shown to be competent.
That said I think his ceiling would still be only 80 yards and an occasional score. Marshall is just depth. Meh.

Marshall is more similar to Thompson than an early down back that would replace Kelley's role.

Washington would be a great spot for Barkley to land. Good oline and if cousins returns

Completely depends on league size and depth of roster. I just picked him up in 14x53 plus taxi. In a 12x22 I wouldn't waste my time.

So with Thompson out, he is probably worth a pick up in deep leagues.

I did as a Thompson owner. Will stash and see for a few weeks, he does look like a good fit as a third down receiving back.

Leshun Daniels promoted from the PS, was a decent Big Ten RB....if Perine gets butter fingers again I'd like to see what this kid can do. Power 1-cut back and his catching is an unknown. But the Skins decided to promote him instead of signing a barrage of retreads they brought in for workouts.....lesser known back have flashed.

About as good of a pick-up you could hope for this katebin the season, at least if you play in as deep as leagues as I do
