Foreman owner has asked about Derrick Henry. His offer is:

Give: Derrick Henry, projected early 2nd
Get: D'Onte Foreman, projected mid/late 1st

Please advise!

Ah, the battle of the Ben Tates!

Gimme Henry and the 2nd... the picks are projected to be close enough in value so I'll take the guy who presumably is closer to a starting job

This is fair, but that initial offer wasn't close.

So Foreman owner still interested in Henry. What if I take out my 2nd? So it will be:

Give: Henry
Get: Foreman/mid-late 1st

I'd rather have Henry

Still Henry. It's probably fair value, but the 1st would have to be early for me to consider this.

If it's a mid-1st then I would say that's a no-brainer.

I think Henry has a larger upside

I know some people seem to like what they've seen in Foreman. When he's gotten enough volume he tends to break a big run but otherwise he's not nearly as impressive as Henry. The modified offer I'd consider fair, but with Foreman blocked by Miller the next couple of years, I'd rather have Henry who is more likely to supplant Murray sooner than later.
