You don't have the option of a bonus contract for Gordon cuz he's on his rookie deal....his salary stays the same but his guaranteed money will decrease.

Gordon had $16,000 remaining in guaranteed money ($8000 x 2 years)...Rebels incur the current year which is $8000. The remaining $8000 is spread over the life of the contract (2 years) which is $4000 per year.
