Interesting how quickly he regains his "swagger"... Seems like he quickly forgot all the mistakes he's made over the past few years and that the organization supported him and gave him second and third chances. 6 games of not being used how he thinks he should and he's requesting to be traded? All while the TEAM is winning games and has playoff aspirations. Some teammate he's showing himself to be.

Normally I would agree, but Pittsburgh's passing game is in disarray with no signs of improvement. I'm not sure there's enough balls to go around to keep everyone happy. AB and Bell will always get their touches and after that, there's not much left these days. Not to mention Ben doesn't seem able to hit any deeper routes this year, and that's where Bryant could thrive.

As a WR he is quite raw. He is fast and athletic, but let's not go pretending he is some world beater at WR.

He has very limited tricks in his arsenal; and my point stands that it is hard to see his situation getting better by going to a different team.

Fair enough. For the most part, I was referring to his raw ability, which he has lots of. That's not to say he's a great route runner or anything of the sort, but the potential is there. He has definitely shown it in the past

Bryant is really overrated talent-wise. He's a good receiver, but nowhere near a stud.

This news makes me more and more happy that I snagged JuJu. AB is a stud, but won't be there forever. With Bryant potentially on his way out, JuJu has a nice flight path to challenging for the the WR1 in Pitt ~3 years down the road. The question will be who is throwing him the ball...

Squeaky wheel has gotten the ball more the next game each of the past few weeks for the Steelers with Brown's sideline tantrum resulting in a ton of targets and Bell saying they should've run more following the 5 INT game resulting in 30+ touches today. We'll see what happens next week and if there's more of a concerted effort to stretch the field.

At least he "requested" trade and didn't "demand" one. I don't know how much the team "supported" him during the whole ordeal since their contact is limited and Big Ben preferred to be passive aggressive towards him through the media. Trade deadline is in a couple weeks. I'd guess this will blow over.

I'd say it's better to play across from a mediocre WR1 (Alshon, Watkins, Dez, etc) cause while they take the CB1 then the other receiver mops up the CB2.

Usually people like AB/Julio/AJG are fine against CB1s and even doubleteams so it isn't as beneficial for their WR2 counterparts.
