Just completed a 2 for 1 trade right at the deadline before making our cuts.

Gave: Demaryius Thomas(dropped Tyreek Hill)
Got: Davante Adams + Stefon Diggs

My keepers are Jay Ajayi, Deandre Hopkins, Allen Robinson, Davante Adams, Stefon Diggs and Tyler Eifert. I released Tyreek Hill to make room and got questioned by my league-mates saying they would rather have Hill than Stefon Diggs.

I felt like I had a young squad and since I am "middle of the pack" and not going for a championship, I felt like it was time to trade D.T. before his age really deteriorated his value. Adams and Diggs are younger and fit better in the direction that I want to go. While I did not like having to release Hill, I felt it was necessary to capitalize on D.T. while I still had the chance. I would also like to mention some notable free-agent wide receivers like Keenan Allen and Jarvis Landry as players I would rather draft than Tyreek Hill.

So Demaryius Thomas and Tyreek Hill for Davante Adams and Stefon Diggs. Who do you got?

Since you're not planning on competing, I'd say that's pretty good value for DT and a good trade for you.

Nah there are stacked teams ahead of me and I traded D.T. to a squad who is trying to join that tier and compete against them. I thought I may as well try to get some assets that have more of a potential to appreciate in value. I can always select Hill at the 1.8 spot if I really wanted him back that much. I guess I'm "that guy" who is just not sold on Tyreek Hill, especially given what will be available through the draft.

Thanks guys. Since I am not competing, all my guys are between 23 and 26 years old so I got younger, and I got my guys. Now I feel like my team has an identity and I can concentrate on drafting in accordance to that identity.

Thanks. I guess being questioned by my league-mates made me second-guess myself.

I'm low on Adams and high on Diggs, so I'm torn a little.

I guess given the situation I'd do that deal also

The more I look at it, the more I like it. Either one of the top 5 rookies drops to me at 1.8 or I get whomever is left between Keenan Allen, Jarvis Landry and Tyreek Hill(honorable mentions: Crowder and Moncrief). I do have a greater need at RB though at that point having Jay Ajayi as my only RB1. The notable RB's available are Tevin Coleman, Ty Montgomery, Ameer Abdullah Spencer Ware on top of next tier of rookies like Kamara, Perrine, Hunt and Foreman. Should any of these guys leapfrog one of the receivers I mentioned at the 1.8 spot?
