Eric Ebron vs David Njoku

Njoku's ADP is higher but when the two are discussed more people prefer Ebron from what I've seen. Ebron is sill young and has improved every year he has been in the league, while Njoku is one of the youngest rookies this year with elite potential. Both have similar draft pedigree. Who do you got?

Depends I suppose. If you have a solid starter already, you can go with Njoku's long-term upside. If you need a guy that you'll need to count on to produce this season, you probably gotta go with Ebron.

Both good options imo. You just have to wait a little longer for Njoku.

Njoku is a great talent but it's easily Ebron here.

These are my thoughts as well.

As an owner of Ebron and Njoku. Gotta say, I love the way Hue Jackson is grooming Njoku into a future star. Giving him tough love during training camp with his fumbling issue. Limiting his snaps early in the season until he proves he's a starter. And last week on 1st and Goal at the 1, he sets him up with an easy TD that was designed for the TE. Fantastic way to build up his confidence!

Ebron on the other hand, is by far, the most frustrating player on my team. When he speaks with reporters he puts on a facade where he says the right things and you believe he's an adult. Then he goes on Twitter and fights with fans who send him mean Tweets. On the field, he only gives effort--especially as a blocker--if his receiving stats are improving.

Ebron officially is all hype and no substance

Ebron value has certainly tanked. He is nowhere near Njoku in value at this point. Ebron may barely be worth a rosters spot in shallower leagues.

My oh my how times have changed. Needless to say, I'd move Ebron for Njoku in half a second.

Here's all you need to know about Eric Ebron, he dedicates a huge portion of his time on social media promoting his own t-shirts and apparel website. Instead of improving his clientele by putting up numbers on the field, he is getting into fights with people who ask the fair question of why someone would wear a shirt promoting a 1st round bust.

Njoku is batting 1000. They keep adding to his plate and he keeps showing why he deserves more snaps. He is only 21 years old and he's already proven he's capable of becoming an elite red zone target.

I'm starting him this week--Clay and Witten both out--over Ebron. Njoku is not a starter you trust just yet. However, the Browns are well aware of the fact that he is likely the best receiving option on the team. Expect to see a significant increase and snaps and a few more targets.

Bumping an older thread. It looks like Ebron is losing the target majority and endzone looks to their "blocking" TE. Man, what a downturn for him

I'm kind of over Ebron, and Njoku is probably a better play even now.

Pre-draft I said I would take Ebron over any of the rookie TEs. Yeah, not so much anymore.

I just sold him for a pair of 4th rounders.
