New Jersey Dirty Birds are over the roster limit....24 hours to resolve.

I believe Knick Knack has an illegal roster. I don't believe Will fuller is eligible for our IR.

Also, what is the penalty for keepung an illegal roster for over 24 hours? I could not locate in the league rules page.

Why wouldn't Fuller be eligible for IR? I thought we changed that rule?

Because he hasn't officially been designated to any list, which is fine, I have no objection to the rules being enforced strictly as written. I'd even advocate for such; however, it is frustrating to seem them enforced strictly sometimes and very loosely others.

Well that rule needs tweaked, let's call it "the common sense rule" Damm guy is out three months, one should be able to put him on IR. I know different thread, but I kept looking at your roster saying how come he hasn't put Fuller on IR...Now I know

I'm curious why they still haven't done something with him. Maybe some weird technicality with the timing of the injury or something? I mean, it's a broken collarbone, second opinion not really necessary on this one. He's gonna be out 2-3 months, baring any setbacks, seems pretty obvious that he should go on IR, with the possibility of bringing back two players now.

Yeah that'll be easy to enforce and won't result in ANY complaining. What's "common sense" to some people is "cheating" to others.

Should I be able to put Andrew Luck on IR? Devontae Booker? Should SMTM be able to put Jordan Reed or Teddy Bridgewater on IR?

Luck would make more sense than retired players. Fuller would make more sense than Luck. I wonder if it might not make more sense for our IR to be independent of the NFL's, but with similar rules/restrictions.

That aside, at least three teams have had illegal rosters since Monday. Since we're well outside the 48-hour window, I trust penalties will start being assessed.

Dont be shy...name names.

I frankly don't have time to babysit everyone's roster to make sure they're all legal at all times.

TJ Logan is also in this same boat....out a while but not officially placed on any injured list yet.

I activated him because he's not eligible for IR. His roster is still legal.

We can discuss retired players in the offseason but that's the current rule so....

Also, I'm fine with this, as long as it's not ambiguous...there can't be any grey area in terms of who qualifies and who doesn't.

By the way, HC Rebels didn't really have an illegal roster...I mistakenly entered Tannehill's contract as no-bonus. I've fixed that and his roster is legal (and really always was). That was my fault.

Ahh. That was one I thought was illegal. TJ Logan was another. That just leaves TDU.
