This is for my sig team. 10 team, Non-PPR.

I have the 1.01 & 1.04 and another owner has the 1.02 & 1.03. We've since compared notes and the first 3 picked will be Mixon, Fournette & Cook.

This leaves me with CMC or Davis at the 1.04. This is a non-ppr league, so my gut is telling me Davis even though I don't need anymore WR's. Another option is the owner at 1.08 needs WR's pretty badly. If I offer up the 1.04 to him, what would you ask for in return? I was thinking his pick at 1.08 + his 1st in 2018, but I don't know if that's too much or too little.

What would you do?

I'd say that sounds like collusion right there .

Mixon or Fournette at 1.01 and trade back to 1.08. I think that's a fair starting point even tho it's asking a lot. Cuz the next offer wil be for 1.08 & 2018 2nd.

This is a new one. It's usually CMC vs one of the other RBs. I prefer Davis between the two.

I'm going with Mixon just because he's my guy. The other owner just isn't sold on CMC, so he's going with Cook. It's a standard scoring league, so I wasn't sure if that tilted the scales away from CMC a little. I like both players pretty equally, that's why I'm kinda torn. I could use a 5th RB for depth, but Davis (in many projections) is the concensus #1. Figured I'd ask the forum their thoughts.

He's my nemesis, so there's definitely no collusion. But, we're close to our draft he just wanted to know who I was leaning toward for 1.01. Since I can't do anything about his 2 & 3 picks, he let me know who he liked at those spots. He swept me last year, so I have to return the favor. Lol

Fournette for the top pick easily over the rest of the players for me. Even more so when it's non PPR. Then Davis over CMC easily at pick 4.

I'm in a similar situation in my league. I own picks 1.01 1.02 and 1.04 while the league champion owns pick 1.03 and it's a 0.3 PPR league. I'm leaning towards picking Fournette/Mixon at 1 and 2. I think the owner of the 1.03 wants to pick an RB because he's stacked at WR. I'm hoping Davis falls to me at 1.04.

I think Fournette and Davis are the two best players in this draft. I would snag Fournette at 1.01 then Davis at 1.04. The scoring favors taking a RB. If Mixon is your guy, go with him, but Davis should be your next pick if he is available. Davis will be the best player on the board. McCaffery will be depth just like Davis, only Davis is a better player in this format.

Looking@ your roster you need every RB you can get.

Plus maybe I am wrong but it doesn't appear the decision is yours to make. You get the guy that's left @ 1.04 and be happy with your haul. You can't lose

If the 1.08 guy is wanting Davis then I wouldn't take less than his 2018 1st . Corey is the consensus#1 WR in the draft that landed in a great situation. A 2nd rd pick next year is likely spare parts. To get the best positional player in a draft not to mention one that has the profile to be a WR #1 doesn't come along often.

Number 8 is a crapshoot for opportunity this year and a serious drop off from Davis. If this other team makes playoffs then you're probably looking at a similar situation next year. I was in dire need of depth and traded the 1.05 for 1.09 &Tyreek. The other guy wanted Dalvin bad so we both were happy. I traded the 1.09 for 1.10 & 3.04 to a team wanting J. Ross . Ended up with Kamara & Golladay plus Tyreek for Dalvin essentially. Perhaps you could do something similar. But if Davis would've been available to me I wouldn't trade. McCaffrey or Cook (who I like better anyway) could be traded for a late first where I could get a Hunt / Kamara and more

My league was 0.5 PPR and I had picks 1, 3, 4 and the guy at two took CMC. I was thrilled to get my top 3 players in the draft. Maybe talk to the guy and try to get an idea of what he'll be taking. Maybe his team needs RBs badly, then you can take Fournette, Mixon and let him take Cook or CMC and Davis falls to you at 4.

Davis, surprised the other guy is passing on him for Cook.

Me too. He told me he wanted Davis a few weeks ago. Just the other day he said he wanted Cook instead. I told him I'll happily take Davis. Lol.

Thanks for the feedback gents. I think I'll probably roll with Davis even though I'm heavy on WR's. I can always deal one of them away for a RB to balance my roster better. If I get a King's ransom for the pick I'll consider it. For now I won't overthink it.

Fournette may be the safer pick at 1.01 for a non-ppr league, but my gut is telling me to go with Mixon's versatility. He's younger, has had half the touches in college, and is a complete back. I already have two, 2 down thumpers in Ajayi & Howard. I'd like to get a guy or two that can be a true 3 down back.
