where to take arod?

Postby tra151 » Thu Aug 26, 2010 11:55 pm

i have the 6th pick in a ten team ppr, and the 8th pick in a 12 team non-ppr qb tds worth 4. i think rodgers is going to have a monster season, when would you take him? i dont think i'd be willing to take him with my first pick in either league, but i would be happy to grab him in the second in either league. anyone think any different? anyone think he has no chance of getting back to me?

The latest I've seen him go in any draft is at the 11/12 turn. In the vast majority of drafts he goes much earlier. These are leagues with standard scoring (4 points for passing TDS). If you want him you are going to have to grab him in the 1st, and to be honest, he may not even be there by the time you pick.
Year 2 | 12 team | Standard | .5 PPR | rtrn yrds | 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/TE, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 TE, 1 K, 2 each IDP (big play)

Q: Stafford, Ben, Locker, Kaep
R: Run DMC, Mathews, JStew, M. Bush, D. Wilson, Jennings, D. Scott, Tanner
W: Mega, Fitz, Nicks, Julio, Rice, Meachem, D. Baldwin, Sanu, M. Jones, G. ChildsBriscoe
T: Gates, Allen, Moeaki
K: Janikowski
DL: JPP, C. Johnson
LB: Willis, Hali, Bishop
DB: J. McCourty, Chancellor

He should be there for you in the 1st, but doubtful you will see him available in the 2nd.

I don't know, that is a coin toss on whether or not he will be there.. Cj, AP, MJD, Rice, AJ are all gone that leaves 2 other picks that are question marks and its 50/50 on whether or not he will be there or not..

I'm in a keep two league, and have been agonizing all offseason with Rodgers on my squad, along with Gore, Greene, and SJax... Now I'm thinking I'll protect Rodgers and Gore and take the best RB that falls to me at pick #3.... I don't think Rodgers will make it past the first two picks, which would be picks 25 and 26 after you factor in the protected players.

I say take Rodgers in the first round. He's that special this season.
