I'm looking to move up from #15 if anyone's interested in trading back

My thoughts exactly. I get he might be a little hyped, but he can definitely beat out Ware for the starting spot.Dre wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 9:09 pmI disagree, I really liked him as a prospect and I think he landed in a very good spotXulu Bak wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 8:10 pmI've seen some sites listing him around this high, but seems like a reach to me. He's not even close to the BPA on talent, and I can think of at least one back that I'd argue has a better opportunity. I guess I'm just not buying the hype, but time will tell.
Maybe not week one but I think he can too. Perine was the back I would have picked over Hunt...Washington has nothing in front of him.sprtsfrk208 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 6:37 am My thoughts exactly. I get he might be a little hyped, but he can definitely beat out Ware for the starting spot.
And, then what? I think best case scenario he's #1 of a crowded RBBC, compounded by the fact the Chiefs are almost certainly going to find creative ways to get Tyreek Hill the ball. Hunt is not an especially explosive athlete for the position. His big play ability is limited. He's sharing carries, and probably not a favorite for 3rd down or goal line looks. He might win the starting job, but his upside seems fairly limited, especially compared to some of the alternatives in this class.sprtsfrk208 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 6:37 amMy thoughts exactly. Perine is the back I was alluding to as well. I think he's a better talent, going into a better situation. Still not the BPA, but all things considered, probably the best RB option available.TrueDawg wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 7:32 amMaybe not week one but I think he can too. Washington doesn't do anything logical.TrueDawg wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 7:32 amMaybe not week one but I think he can too. Yeah, I'm surprised Williams fell that far. But his injury history is scary. He's dealing with a back injury right now.Xulu Bak wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 2:15 pm That pick was a coinflip. It was between Howard and Williams. The latter is arguably a better talent, at a position of greater need, but I think Howard has an incredibly high ceiling, with a lot less risk. On talent alone, they're 2a/2b in this class as far as I'm concerned.
His injury history is a concern. Him sitting out for so long with this particular injury is much more concerning. To not even participate in non-contact drills due to a hernia, which is a dime-a-dozen injury in the NFL makes me wonder if there's something more there (ala Kevin White's "shin splint" that was a stress fracture). Also, highly talented WR prospects with the name "Mike Williams" don't exactly have the best track record!TrueDawg wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 2:19 pmYeah, I'm surprised Williams fell that far. Speaking of injury history...I'm not sure I'd have picked Ross in the first round.
The Bengals OL is a big concern too. I think Dalton's gonna get killed this year. Ross has a small frame and previous injuries aside, I wonder how he'll hold up to the punishment of the NFL.Xulu Bak wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 2:23 pm His injury history is a concern.
