Tyrell might outscore him this year, but give me Mike for the long-run.

Leaning towards Mike Williams in the mid/long run, chargers invested quite some draft capital.

This year I have to believe Tyrell will outpace Mike. In 4 years though, LA will have a new QB. Too far out to tell. Given the draft capital, Mike should be the bet, but he has to prove it. A lot can happen in 4 years.

I think Mike Williams is Keenan Allen insurance. We're in the last few years of Rivers and you cannot afford to have Allen out with no replacement. And truly, do you trust Allen to play 12 or more games this year? And if so this year, who's to say Allen is healthy every year going forward. I'm looking at this as the Williams' sister's show - dominating the doubles!

Hard to imagine a top 10 draft pick doesn't have a chance to get on the field without an Allen injury. I think we see a fair amount of 3 receiver sets.

I like Tyrell and all, but give me the guy just taken at 7 overall. At their prices, I might take Tyrell, but straight up, it is easily Mike Williams for me.

Mike>Tyrell

However, at their current costs, I'd buy Tyrell all day over Mike.

Yea insurance is spending a 3rd round pick on someone. You don't spend the #7 overall pick just in case someone gets injured at a position you are decently strong at when you have several other huge holes on your team.

They're obviously expecting big things from Williams going forward, whether Allen stays healthy or not.

i think MW could be the steal of rookie drafts if hes consistently going 6th. tyrell was a udfa, which at this point means very little, but they invested virtually nothing in him versus the pick they spent on mike. tyrell did well, but anyone would do well as the #1 on the chargers offense. especially with no woodhead. I expect it may be close year one, but MW upside and td potential means ill take him over tyrell easy. 5th round adp vs 9th round adp i wouldnt fault taking tyrell in a startup

I'm not too concerned as a Tyrell owner.

Rivers' was at his best tossing it up to VJax on one side and Floyd on the other.

I agree with the previous poster who said Mike is Keenan insurance. Regardless, you can't have too many WRs although I thought they should have moved down and gone defense.
