In light of the recent surgery on both wrists, what is the highest rookie pick you would be willing to pay for Riddick?

I would probably give 2.6 for him but I expect his owners to pass on that.

I agree. He's one of those players whose sell and buy price are not even.

I avoid gimmick players like Riddick. All his value is his receptions which is a major negative to me as a running back. Middle/late 2nd is probably right for a believer.

I offered the 3.02 the other day (riddick was on the other owners draft block) and got rejected in Superflex.

As a rebuilder with Riddick (team not in sig) I would take any 2nd. No one in my league would offer that though.

As a champ where Riddick is often my 2nd back (team 1) it would have to be early second. Again, no one in my league would offer that.

Riddick is one of those players where if you don't own him you don't think much about him, but if you own him you're generally glad that you have him. I wasn't after him but he fell in my lap (gave Brock Osweiler for him) for some RB depth. I'm really happy to own him now because he is generally very consistent when he plays, with potential for big upside. But I wouldn't expect anyone in my league to pay an early second for him.

I'd like to have Riddick. Out of all the Lions' backs you know that his role is safe. I'd give a mid-late second.

I agree. Riddick got double-digit points in every single game he played, and single-handedly won a couple weeks for me. That's exactly the production I want from someone playing at the end of of a lineup. I'd be hesitant to sell him for even an early 2nd, since I don't expect that type of consistency out of anyone in the 2nd round. I think a late-2nd is a great price for Riddick, and a mid-2nd is still good value.

If it's a PPR league I'd happily give up an early 2nd for Riddick. He was signed to an extension before last season and I know a healthy Abdullah seems to put a damper on Riddick, but I believe they can share the backfield and be a solid RB2 for your team. Although I seem to prefer proven commodities instead of taking a risk on incoming rookies.

Riddick's value seems to be mid-2nd in my eyes. I've owned both Sproles and Woodhead and knew that nobody would ever give anything for them but could happily plug them in and enjoy their receptions.

I was offered Maclin or Eric Decker for Riddick for a team not in sig. I'm hesitant. Are either of those legit returns?

Definately. And depending on your roster, could be a great deal for your team.
