Auction Help! Newbie

I've done redraft and dynasty but never an auction. I took over a team after the auction started so a few of the top names were off the board. Since MFL has been down I have not been able to bid on any players yet.

Based off of capitalist pigs auction. 28 team 2 copies of players super flex. 1000 startup veteran only, 200 rookie, and 50 devy cash allotted.

Passing: .04 points per yard, 4 points per touchdown, 1 point for 2 pt conversion
Rushing: .1 points per yard, 6 points per touchdown, .25 points per carry, 2 point for 2 pt conversion
Receiving: .1 points per yard, 6 points per touchdown, 1.00 point per reception, 2 point for 2 pt conversion
Tight End Receiving Bonus: 0.5 extra points per reception

1-2 QB, 1-6 RB, 2-7 WR, 1-6 TE

Since there has been down time I have been able to trade startup cash for rookie/devy. I'm not really sure if this is a good thing but I have been sending 70-75 startup for 100 rookie cash (on average). Right now my money looks like this:

Start up - 640
Rookie - 465
Devy - 75

Roster: both were already on the team when I acquired
Goff - for 80
Jordy - for 151

Use the player value chart in my sig. Multiply these values by 5, as I have it setup for $200 funds. I'm assuming you're going rookie-heavy? I don't like a $150 Jordy in that scenario.

Thanks a lot!! I didn't bid on jordy the previous owner did and I don't like it either. Do I just plug my player rankings in there since there isn't any players entered?

Yes. Sometimes I will use the DLF rankings on their main page (premium members only), but I will deviate where I see fit. Ultimately, you want your leaguemates to overspend on the blue-chips. This will create a big opportunity for you to clean up the bonus rounds and build a deep squad.

I built a custom value chart for this format today. The results are very interesting.

Glad to belp, but beware that these charts are specific to the formats shown on them. I would caution against using them for leagues with different roster/lineup requirements.
