Oakland has a new OC.

How do you all see Latavius Murray performing next season?

Would you keep him?

He's a FA, so we shall see where he ends up. I like him as an RB2 next year.

Thanks lucky!

I am pondering on if I should even keep him. 8 keeper ppr idp league

Here are my keepers: Dez, AB, Ajayi, Newton, Eifert, (Here are the no brainers)

Here are the tough decisions: Kelvin Benjamin, Latavius Murray, Paul Perkins, Jamie Collins (LB) & Ryan Shazier (LB)

I guess I am now asking who would you keep?

So keep the original 5 you posted, plus KB & Murray. For the 8th, idk. I would almost never recommend keeping IDP unless it's Mack, or healthy Watt

Thanks man! That's great advice! Something to definitely think about?

Why do are so so vehement against keeping IDP?

A couple reasons: for one, most leagues only require you to start 1 or 2 at each position. Secondly, LB & DB are revolving door positions that are easily streamable. Also most leagues don't value IDP scoring as much as offense

What are your lineup requirements and how many pts did the top DL score as opposed to the top offensive guy?

You make a very strong point!

Here are the lineup requirements:
Quarterback:1
Running Back:1
Wide Receiver:2
Tight End:1
Kicker:1
Running Back / Wide Receiver / Tight End:1
Defensive Line:3
Linebacker:4
Defensive Back:4
Bench:8

Here is a list of the leading IDP scoring:

LBs: 189.50, 172.00, 167.00, 166.50, 164.00, 160.50, 159.00, 157.50, 153.00, 150.50, 149.00, 148.50, 147.00, 146.50, 145.50, 144.50, 143.00, 141.00, 139.00, 138.50, 137.50, 135.50, 134.50, 132.50, 132.00

DL: 155, 130, 129.50, ...

DBs: 197.50(Landon Collins), 137, 132, 131, 126, 125, ...

I think that you are absolutely correct with regards to not keeping IDP players. However, LBs do seem to hold the most value. (Ala my contemplation over keeping Jamie Collins and Ryan Shazier.)

I think that you are absolutely right though.

So what did the top WR & RB score?

Lol,

It doesn't even compare:

Rb: 394, 314, 307, 287, 287, 283, 271, 238, 228, 226, 223, 205, 202, 195, 295, 287, ...

Wr: 312, 302, 297, 296, 296, 269, ....

Given the scoring, I can't justify keeping Collins. But I wouldn't want to keep Perkins either. Who are some other options on offense?

There's not much after that.

Perkins would only be kept depending on if R. Jennings & Shane Vereen return and him being the work horse back. It would be solely with the hopes that he'd turn into an elite of very solid RB. (I take it you are not buying his stock?)

Here are the other options: Wendell Smallwood, Tyler Boyd, Dontrelle Inman, Brandon Lafell, Jordan Matthews, Coby Fleener.

As I mentioned previously, not much thereafter. Lol

Oh my man, it's Jordan Matthews. That's your 8th keeper no question. He's not sexy but he absolutely needs to be one of your keepers

Really?

I literally just read Rotoworld's Latest News update on him. (I do read these with grams of salt. Lol) I then lost all confidence in him.

Ironically, I traded for him with the intentions on keeping him, however I am just not thoroughly confident in doing so.

Why so much praise?

Well it's not so much that he deserves SO much praise, as he's your 8th keeper, but he's a talented young WR who has been very productive over his young career. He hasn't had the career arc that we all hoped for after his fantastic rookie year, but he's still been a nice WR2/3
