Team 2 in sig. $1000 salary and contract league.

Gurley owner has committed to going into a rebuild and have been in brief talks with him. Given my team in sig 2, is this a trade that would be worth it? It gets rid of my WR depth if I do I feel.

I Give: D Henry $40/yr 2yrs remaining + C Coleman $45/yr 2 yrs remaining

I Get: Gurley $52.50/yr 2yrs remaining

To save you the math.. I would save $32.50 in cap.

If I recall correctly from a previous post, you have the option to extend players, correct? Is that option available to all three players in this case?

Yes we have 2 RFA extensions and 1 UFA extension.

RFA- If they are at the end of their contract and you don't want to extend them but they are RFA you can match the highest bid for them to retain them.

UFA- once contract is up, player goes to highest bidder.

I'd probably make the trade. I'd rather have Gurley to Henry straight-up, and you can probably find another rookie with a similar enough profile and contract to replace Coleman (or have the freedom to use the money elsewhere). Given the relative similarities of the contracts, it's essentially Henry + Coleman for Gurley. I'll take Gurley every time there.
