Cook/Williams/Davis

Postby kasermap » Mon Jan 09, 2017 5:47 pm

What's everyone's opinion on the two? I have a feeling Fournette is going 1.1 and will be deciding between these three.

Cook.

I think there will be a strong case for him being considered as 1.01.

I have it 2 - Williams, 3- Cook, 4 - Davis.

It's close though.

Williams is 2 for me.
Cook 3
Davis 4.

Really like all 3 guys though. I think Williams might go 5 to Titans. I also think cook will disappoint in combine for what people expect. People say he's Charles cause he made a lot of big long plays in the ACC. He's not. I'm not sure he breaks 4.50. Which is fine I have him 3 knowing he won't. But I think the 1.01 love mentioned above will die down after that

The consensus top 2 at this point will be Fournette/Cook unless something drastic happens but you're still getting two WR in rising offenses if they are drafted to a team like TEN or PHI.

Any specific reason why people like Davis better than Williams? What exactly does Mike Williams have to do for people to slot him above Davis?

Many didn't believe he was the real deal. He shut a lot of critics up tonight. He is gone at 1.03 in my league.

I own 1.02 and 1.03.

I'm sitting with Freeman (after a trade) and Powell and Corey Grant at RB

WR is where i'm going to go...It doesn't matter which one you put a head of the other both are going to be studs, but for the purpose of argument I would say

Davis, Williams, Cook.
I have too many teams to list...

Mike Williams really turned it on in the second half of last nights game. He's really making a case for the top WR position. I look forward to the conversations about Corey Davis vs Mike Williams leading up to the draft.

Not Smart in my opinion. Even if you have a need at WR, you can't let Cook slip to the 1.04. I would either trade back, or take Cook and trade him for a WR you want/need.

I can't believe mike Williams had to "prove something" to people. The dude is a star and it's so obvious. Sweeney is a great coach and the best wr coach in college football. He says he's a better stronger Hopkins. That's enough for me.

I think if it wasn't for fournette being generational he should be the 1.01. He just does things that NFL guys do. He makes contested catches in traffic consistently. Runs a full route tree. A solid route runner (not as good as Davis) and has the perfect size as an alpha wr1.
