1. Seahawks
2. Pats
3. Cowboys
To me, these 3 could be in ANY order. The Hawks beat NE this season and NE has lost Gronk, but we all know what Bill & Tom are capable of, with or without Gronk. We all know what Seattle is capable of. Dallas is playing great ball this season, and hiding their defense very well.

4. Chiefs
5. Raiders
6. Falcons
7. Steelers
8. Broncos
I feel like this is a very clear 2nd tier. All of these teams do at least 1 thing VERY well. All of these teams have some very major flaws. For Pittsburgh of course, they need to GET IN the playoffs obviously, but if they do they could be scary. Their offense is every bit the machine that we used to see in Green Bay. Atlanta is in a similar boat but has an easier path to the playoffs.

9. Colts
10. Giants
11. Ravens
12. Lions
I don't see these teams having very good odds to make any splash in the playoffs. The Lions are the only team in this list that will almost certainly make the playoffs, although the Giants also have a good shot. I just don't see either of those 2 teams possessing the ability to go the distance. Baltimore has a decent shot to make the postseason, I think they're currently "leading" the AFC north, I just don't see them as a very good team. Indy has a coin toss of a chance to win their division and go to the dance, and even if they do, I don't think they have much of a shot. But I think they do have a fighter's chance IF they can get in.

This is a good list. You have a little biasy bump for Indy(they cant even beat my Texans), but other than that I like it.

Well, 1.5 months later, I feel pretty good with my assessment. I like Atl to upset NE

Fun to look at this assessment after all is set and done. ATL very well could have done it big time if they didn't have the biggest collapse in the 2nd half in Superbowl history.
