AJG value?

For AJG I recently offered my:

Adrian Peterson
Early '17 2nd
Tyler Boyd

Am I far off? The owner didn't seem to think about it. Just trying to figure out what I'd take if I was in his shoes at 1-6.

AJG is a beast. Wr5/6 imo. That was a sad first offer. Doesn't matter his record. Ajg is worth more than all of that 3 times over.

We're a devy league, so what if I subbed the 2nd rounder for Mike Williams (Clemson?)

Yes...you are ridiculously far off and it is an extremely insulting offer that shouldnt even get an offer back.

Bell for AJG is a good offer.

No.. Mike Williams=mid first in a standard dynasty league. The other pieces add up to an early second/late first at best? Ajg is worth 3 firsts. Why would he trade ajg just to get a guy he hopes gets close to ajg? If youre trading for an elite guy its your job to make him have to accept it, these offers are probably making it harder for you to get ajg.

Asking if you are "far" off is an insult to the word "far."

If a guy is 1-6 (not that it should matter with a stud like AJG, but let's pretend it does) how does offering him AP help? I love Boyd, but he is not carrying first round value right now. So you offered the equivalent of a late first at best and are shocked when the AJG owner payed you no mind???

So what kind of offer makes sense that doesn't include starters from my side? Our league is 2.5 y/o and just hasn't seen many trades with top-tier WR's, so I'm just trying to figure out what it would take and if I have it.

Doesn't change my competing situation to trade Bell for AJG cuz I'm not deep enough at RB.

Moncrief, Lockett, 17 1st might open talks...Maybe

Bell could be a starting point but I doubt he takes that now. If I were him I'd bump it up to bell and Williams or Sharpe. And I'd only do that if I believed in bell long term and needed a rb, plus I'd have to like sharpe/williams

As others have said, you will need to scrap your initial offer entirely, as some could argue the most valuable asset you were offering him was the 2nd (some still love AP, some think he's worthless).

If you were coming after my AJG, you would need to offer Dez/+, Bell/+, or Hopkins/+. Anything else wouldn't start a discussion.

Being in a devy league makes it tough to communicate on here haha. I just need to update my sig to reflect that. I actually offered my 1st, I said "early 2nd" in effort to translate. I wouldn't intentionally make a 2rp a key cog in a trade like this but a devalued 1st is the best I got! :)

Either way, the latter comments here were really helpful. I may just not have the cash to loosen up a guy like Green which is ok. It is useful to get a better picture of what an offer needs to look like, cuz I'm trying to start low but I honestly didn't mean to absolutely lowball the dude. Gonna just sit on my snoozing team for now and hope they can turn on the jets come playoff time.

Switch AP with Fournette in the original offer. That may get him interested. But it seems like you're looking to acquire AJG for bench warmers which won't happen. Ask yourself what it would take you to move Hopkins, and then add a 2nd onto that. That's his value.

Try Fournette, Moncrief, and the 1st. You can afford to lose Fournette since you have two studs and will get Guice the year after. If the other person is a Moncrief truther then this would be a great deal for you.
