Torrey Smith vs Travis Benjamin

Postby TheDogPound » Mon Aug 01, 2016 3:24 pm

Who has the largest upside and should outperform the other?

I think that I am targeting both players, being that I am playing in such a deep league.

I'm going Benjamin here in a PPR league. He has the speed to be a burner and take over the big play long ball shots and the talent to get plenty of targets in a dynamic offense.

Smith is just Meh to me but he certainly could be solid. I honestly expect Smelter to stir up some trouble as he begins to finally get a chance to show what he can do. He has the long bomb potential though. He also will need to depend on Kap or Gabbert in a Chip Kelly offense. No thanks.

Benjamin ought to fill the Malcolm Floyd role, which will have some huge games but is not consistent week to week. Keenan Allen, Gates and Woodhead are all there to share targets as well.

Smith is the #1 in a Chip Kelley system that historically peppers his top targets and ought to be playing catch up alot.
